Switches
A unique range of plug-in switches that operate at Protected Extra Low Voltage (PELV) and offer the installer dramatic time savings. Switches are connected using a lead with RJ11 connectors, one end plugging into the switch, the other into a flex7 control device. This negates the need for on-site cable preparation and results in the switch being connected in seconds.
Key features
- RJ Connectivity meaning termination takes a second and requires no screwdrivers, strippers or earthing/sleeving.
- Protected Extra Low Voltage (PELV) so regardless of how deep you sink it into the wall you won’t necessarily need to enclose the Switch Drop Lead in an earthed metallic enclosure/covering or provide RCD circuit protection.
- No onsite terminations
- Available as 1, 2, 3 or 4 gang module
- Retractive & centre return retractive options
- Black or white to suit decor / Part M
Simple plug-in connection via RJ ready lead
Unlike traditional hard-wired switches, flex7 switches incorporate RJ connectivity meaning termination takes a second and requires no screwdrivers, strippers or earthing/sleeving. Installation time is reduced to a minimum as a result, especially when all the additional benefits of using a PELV system are taken into account.
